Investigating Android and iPad2

The past few months since my last update flew by and EyeHope sales are slowly spreading to more countries. Marie downloaded the Android SDK this week and we will be investigating this platform over the coming months.

In other news, the March 3rd Apple iPad2 event this week was pretty exciting. The iPad2 will have 2 cameras and should be a perfect platform for our low-vision reader. Marie and I are meeting tomorrow to plan the upgrade and prep for the iPad2 release. Stay tuned and thanks for your support.

Features of the EyeHope Magnifier App

The EyeHope Magnifier App packs the features of expensive  low-vision magnifiers that can cost $500 or more into your iPhone.

Below is the iTunes copy that will launch with the app sometime in the next few weeks. Please take a look and let me know if yob have any questions or suggestions.

Transform your iPhone into a low-vision magnifier with live zoom of up to 10 times magnification.

The EyeHope Magnifier can capture and view images in full-color and 4 high-contrast modes. Use iPhone's pinch zoom to view captured images in a mind-boggling (and slightly ridiculous) 1 to 100 times magnification.

Lighting and picture quality may affect high-contrast modes. Please visit  www.eyehope.com to view and share tips to improve your results.

A portion of all profits from the EyeHope Magnifier will be donated to charities focused on curing blindness.

Features:

  • Magnify live camera view up to 10x
  • Capture and save images for high-contrast image enhancement
  • Pinch zoom captured images up to 100 times magnification
  • View captured images in 5 modes:
    • Color
    • Black and white
    • Reverse black and white
    • Reverse yellow and black
    • Reverse yellow and blue
  • Optional save of captured image to iPhone photo library
  • Retains last zoom level and favorite color mode between sessions
  • High-Contrast buttons ensure you don’t miss that perfect shot

  • Voice-Over accessibility feature enabled
